Rudo & Mbigi

We are hoping most of you have read Rudo and Mbigi’s love story published in the October issue of  DreamBrides.  For those who did not get around to do so, please go to the magazine tab on this blog to access the magazine and read their story.

Here is a bit more about Rudo & Mbigi.

We met Rudo a couple of years ago when she came to get some portraits done by us.  She absolutely loved her photos and kept telling us that one day when she gets married we will have to take her wedding photographs.  In December 2011, we were in the middle of covering a wedding and our phone started ringing endlessly.  It was Rudo screaming on the other side “I met an amazing person and got engaged to him!  I am dreaming of my fairy tale wedding and need to come and see you. I want to you cover my wedding.” So from that day onwards we spent several Sundays in our studio talking and discussing Rudo & Mbigi’s wedding. Anyone who has met Rudo and Mbigi knows just how much fun it is talking to these two love birds.  They have a way of cheering you up even if you are having a bad day or just simply tired.  We would spend hours talking and dreaming about their wedding day. 

We were honored when Rudo planned her wedding day around our schedule.  According to her, “I will not have my wedding without dreamteam.” How sweet!  She would send “we miss you” messages when we were away and not so active on facebook.

Rudo & Mbigi, we love you guys to bits! May you have a beautiful married life filled with love and laughter!

   

Lydia & Mandela

As we always say, each wedding is very unique and special. Lydia and Mandela’s wedding was no different.  In fact it was very special as we have been covering weddings from Lydia’s family for years.  Having said that what do we remember the most about Lydia and Mandela’s special day?  Well, it was a day full of emotions. We remember Mandela started tearing the moment he saw his bride to be walking down the aisle.  They both could not stop smiling and laughing during the ceremony. We remember how much the families loved them and offered their whole hearted blessings on their special day. During the reception they both laughed and cried while their parents spoke with much love. It was a day filled with singing and dancing. A perfect day it was!
