Rapunzal watched over us

The great thing about weddings that spread over a number of days (photographically speaking) is the array of costumes and moments we get to capture of the same couple.
Dhara had such gorgeous,  colourful outfits with intricate detail work we could not get enough of getting creative. Even if we had an entire 24 hours of dedicated shooting with Dhara and Sunny, we would not have had enough.
This wedding spanned over several days with Friday seeing the climax in the Gaborone leg of the celebrations.
Soon after the Friday morning ceremony we captured some great creative shots. Each shoot we do, we try to keep the creativity as different as possible from others and this time we had Rapunzal helping us out in our quest J Check them out!!
Pictures from the second half of Friday will follow soon.

Priyanka & Aditya- FIRE & ICE

Priyanka and Aditya had a world wind wedding, starting from Botswana then to Kenya. They ended the month long celebrations back home here in Botswana.  On a cold winter night the two families managed to “wow” their guests with  FIRE & ICE.   Great Indian cuisine, delicious desserts, dancing, singing and fire display … what a fabulous night it was.
As Priyanka described  it was a “dream wedding”.

Dhara & Sunny -Graba Night

Dhara and Sunny hosted their Garba night the day before their wedding.  Both of them, along with their family and friends, danced the night away to live traditional music.

Garba is a Gujarati folk dance performed prior to the wedding.  Traditionally this dance is performed around a lamp.

It was a cold winter night, yet everyone kept warm by joining in with dancing. The guests were treated to warm crème of tomato soup along with delicious poori and curry.

The live musicians kept the dancing crowd going late into the night despite the freezing weather.  What fun it was!
